In the early 1980s Chris was a Buyer for British Leyland, specialising in Plastics (extrusions and dip mouldings). Whilst there he took the Institute of Purchasing and Supply Diploma (post-graduate level) – the youngest Buyer to do so. From British Leyland he then worked as a Systems Analyst for Perkines Engines in Peterborough. In 1982 Chris started teaching (Business Studies and economics) for various colleges in Oxford. In 1986 he formed his own company. Over the next few years he diversified and set up a training business (OSL Training) a conference business (Oxford Conferences) and sold cassette tapes (Marketing Education Services) of lectures to schools.He also wrote numerous Business Studies lesson for The Guardian and contributed to BBC Bitesize Business Studies. Currently Chris has had over 120 books published by three publishers as well as many of the books being featured on Amazon. Chris is currently creating online video courses in Economics and Business.
