From a background in safeguarding, telephone counselling and volunteer management with NSPCC ChildLine, Lixi has cultivated a skill-set encompassing creative arts and soft skill development.  Lixi regularly facilitates theatre workshops with stakeholder groups and organisations in the social care system including day services for adults with additional needs, residential homes for elderly people who may have dementia or health complications, and schools and youth settings with children and young people with additional needs or disabilities.  Amongst other productions, Lixi has performed in multiple showcases with ART in Oxford, most recently Transformation, as a singer with Ockham’s Razor, and as a dancer in the London 2012 Paralympic Opening Ceremony.  Additionally Lixi works as a theatre director for community theatre productions and youth theatre productions, as a sign language communicator and as a family sign teacher.
