UK Businesses
ART will send a team of actors who have a business background into businesses in the UK. During the day we will conduct various workshops designed to improve the overall performance of the business. These activities are likely to include a bespoke play based on the business’s products/services, role play and improvisation. Each day is individually designed to match the business’s needs. Fees are £200 a day for a minimum of three business actors.
Overseas Businesses
ART will send a team of actors with business experience to spend between three and seven days with a business. During that time a variety of activities will be carried out aimed at improving the overall performance of the business. All the activities will be conducted in English. Prior to our visit we will visit your website and other publicity to ensure we know about your business and products. This will make sure our days spent with you will be planned to maximise your benefit. Fees are available on request – each quotation is individual.
UK Schools
There is a section on the site where we detail our visits to schools. In this Business Theatre section we detail the service we offer schools – and this is aimed at teachers
Here are some examples of what we offer:
a. Teacher observation. Teaching, the art of causing learning, is part presentation, part content, part involvement, part classroom management. The teacher engages the audience – just as an actor does. An actor will sit in the class and give feedback on the lesson, especially how engaged the pupils are.
b. Classroom Management. Through the use of short sketches we will illustrate classroom problems and possible ways to deal with disturbances.
c. One-off subject specific lectures. Currently we offer a one-off lesson in Business Studies, Drama, Economics, Philosophy, Politics and Sociology. Of course, if we are sending several actors, then these classes/group lectures can be run in parallel. We have run drama groups in the UK, Poland and the Czech Republic and are familiar with the national curriculum.
Our fee for this is £120 per business actor.
