Welcome to the home of Oxford Playwrights, a local society aimed at promoting new and aspiring playwrights within the Oxfordshire area. The group was established in 2004 to bring together new writers of drama to support development of their work, leading to eventual production.Read more

We are a small and newly founded international amateur theatre group from Oxford (UK). We have a very inclusive, fun, creative approach with everyone contributing to the plays we read, the improvisations we do, the things we want to try out on stage. The mission of Oxfordshire Theatre Makers is to link local theatre practitioners, encourage professional opportunities within the Oxfordshire area, and establish the county’s reputation for creating excellent home-grown theatre.
To this end OTM will provide direct links with venue managers and offer incentives to keep theatrical talent within Oxfordshire.
