- - Over thirty years’ experience of finance and accounting in the private and public sectors
- - Became self employed in 2001 and now specialises in accounting advice and preparation of tax returns for actors
- - Trained professionally as an actor in 2006/07 and now run two careers in parallel
Highlights of accounting career:-
- - Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse & Co. (now PricewaterhouseCoopers)
- - Worked in commerce and industry for large organisations including RioTinto-Zinc, The Rank Organisation and Citroen
- - Transferred to the public sector in 1992 and was employed in the Finance Departments of three Colleges of Further Education, latterly as Director of Finance at Berkshire College of Agriculture
- - Accounting clients as a self employed consultant have included actors, cameramen, IT consultants, motor repair specialists and a charity
Has occasionally undertaken interim/troubleshooting work for public sector bodies such as Housing Associations.
Richard also appeared in Transformation and travelled with ART to Poland and the Czech Republic
