Imran Mirza is an actor who lives in Oxford. He trained at The Actors’ Centre after a career in sociological research. Since then he has appeared in a number of plays including Murmuring Judges at the Old Fire Station and ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore at the Northwall. Imran has also worked in film, most notably the lead role in the short film ‘Insha’allah’ by High Five Films and a role in Born of War, an action thriller feature due for release in January. Imran founded Awkward Actors, a community drama organisation, and runs an open drama/improvisation group for non-actors as well as actors in east Oxford every Wednesday evening.
